What am I missing out on exactly? If anything I have the best of all worlds by having dedicated devices for my needs while your smartwatch tries to do everything but is a master of nothing. And to top it off it looks ugly on your wrist.
no point in wearing a piece of man jewelry to tell time or accessorize, a smart watch is a utilitarian multi tool. only dorks wear wear man jewelry to impress others

Heart rate during gym.

You know what the point of rest between sets are right?

So instead of guesstimating using time, you can be more accurate using heart rate.

Why wait 90 seconds when heart rate is back down within 30 or 40 seconds? Or what if it was an intense set, why assume you’re good for the next intense set after 2 minutes if heart rate is still elevated, only hurting the performance of your next intense set.

BRB watching powerlifters sit around 5-10 min between sets, while I’m completing my sets like an endurance athlete.
