Certainly lucky to have good friends. This all went down so fast and when I told him about the car he immediately said we can take his hauler and go get it. I was kind of taken back. It a big thing to have a friend take a week off and go across the country and back on a whim. I only agreed after he assured me he wanted to do it. We are going to make it fun. Go race one of the premier race courses in the country. The guy I am buying the car from is a member of the country club so we will eat well while there.

We are going to take the side by side up into the mountains. We are making a trip out of it. One last guy trip of summer. My son along for the ride too! I am sure we will remember this for years to come.

Just awesome to have good friends. Times like this are when I reflect on how lucky I am to live a life filled with good people. I'd like to think I am a good friend as well. Passing through tenn now!

Congrats and happy for you. I'm not a car person and could/can never really understand why people spend buckoo bucks on cars that they let sit in their garages for months on end and take it out once or a few times a year. The fact that it's not street legal makes it more of a trophy piece than a functional piece. Just $$ spent to sit looking pretty and to say you have it. Most people will oh and ah and then forget about it. I love driving slightly faster past Mustangs or Camaros knowing they paid top $$ to be stuck doing 45 on the street and 70 on the freeway. Wasted energy and purpose. That's why they're called sports cars. They're not meant for low speed daily driving but you get those idiots who take a machine meant to be driven fast and use it as their daily driver at Prius level speeds. Shake my head every time. If you take it out at least once a month to give it a good run then you're a rare and upstanding sports/performance car owner. Just don't Paul Walker yourself or your kid. Enjoy it.
