It's all the african nations pulling up the average and asian nations pulling down the average.

**** is completely fuked.

Not to mention the impending doom coming.

I just took a look at available jobs. Some of these entry level jobs are requiring bachelors for pay that is equivalent to a Mcdonald's worker.

The day Mcdonalds starts requiring bachelor's for flipping burgers is the day I will hang from my dik in the Amazonian rain forest.

Yea mix that with the current supply and demand and tender rejections and this freight market is literally one of the worst I've seen since 2013. 2019 was bad, but I honestly don't know wtf is going to happen with all of these smaller freight companies. They're fukked.

Yea I remember looking at jobs about a month ago and I came across one that I seemed interested in. So I read it and it was a managerial position for a pretty big place. The responsibilities were pretty insane and the list was long af. I figured the pay would be minimum 85k+ if not close to 100k based on qualifications and responsibilities.

The pay was 48k. This job market is RUTHLESS for wagies lmao.

The climate cultists are at home with their vibrators on High to celebrate fewer trucks on the road

Middle class jobs are pretty expendable when you’re ‘saving the world’

Yellow is a zombie company that should have gone out of business like 5+ years ago, and has been surviving on cheap debt to stay afloat.

With interest rates staying elevated for another 12 months, you'll see a lot more of these bankruptcies.

This is actually healthy, because their assets and logistics contracts will be taken over by other non-unionized companies.

Does their revenue decrease because those people are gone?

Layoffs are good for earnings

YRC has been on life support for at least 15 years. The trucking industry was heavily deregulated about 40 years ago and opened the doors up to much lower cost non union competitors. With YRC going under, there aren’t any big union LTL companies left.

Also, I used to work with a couple of the executives before they went to YRC, I always thought of them as pretty low horsepower and wondered how they ended up in leadership positions.
