I know no one at my gym and it's wonderful for this exact reason. One of my old gyms, I'd end up in a convo that went on too long that I'd have to awkwardly get away from.

I met up with a few girls from boxing today for a gym session with coffee post. Pleasantly surprised they stuck to grinding through the routine and we saved the chatter for later.

All this to say, it’s not bad working and talking at the gym, just don’t engage with chatty Kathy’s that don’t know the place and time for things

Its more so the point I like being in my own world while in the gym, its how I mentally recharge. I don't wanna feel obligated to acknowledge people every time I work out
