You don't need a divorce attorney to tell you this stuff. You just need to go outside and be somewhat aware of the relationships around you and it's there clear as day. OP is an idiot and just realized women in marriages rarely ever fuk their husbands or use it as a tool to get what they want. OP is 16 and a virgin.

And those that do win big. Funny thing though. There are things you as a man can do to make sure the odds are in your favor of winning it. Have you not figured this out yet? 8 years on the Misc and you need me to remind you:
1. Be a man
2. Take charge of your life and lead/define the relationship but be understanding about your partner as well.
3. Handle business but have fun doing it - most men can't do this and women find it wildly sexy.
4. Fuk her like a porn star and always make sure she finishes.
5. Take care of yourself as best as you can physically. Doing something is better than nothing and most men do nothing.
6. Profit

I only watched a short bit of the video. Just from what I've seen, most divorces I'm familiar with go the same way. the female stops having sex. the guy then complains to friends that nothing is going on in the bedroom anymore, that wife and he are now just friends. He goes out and gets a girlfriend, which none of his friends knew about. the wife finds out about the girlfriend. She gets upset, works to get the family upset at the guy also. And then it is off to see an attorney.

i've known a few marriages that lasted due to their religion. I think there to be truth that with fewer people being religious, more couples are getting divorced.

This has to be bullchit. I know plenty of happily married people, that have been married 20, 30, 40, 50 years. I also know miserable married people. But it's def not one happily married couple out of thousands. lol

If prenups work, I don't see anything wrong with them. If you're going into a marriage and one person has money and the other bulks at not being able to walk away with that money then you should have your answer right there. Don't get married to them.

I got divorced 2 years ago and have watched a lot of videos similar to this.I actually thought about posting this one to the misc but figured nobody would spend 1 hour watching it.

This vid is by far the best one I’ve ever seen, he remains very unbiased not pointing finger at just women. This vid would be 10x more helpful than 90% of the crap taught in schools these days. All men and even women should be required to watch it.

Marriage for a man is playing Russian roulette with your life & finances. Not just 1 chamber is loaded, half of the cylinder is.
I will never get married again and believe that any man that is still foolish enough to get married should absolutely get a prenup.

The government and family courts have completely ruined the concept of marriage.
Send me money for my kids or I will neg you

I didn't get gay vibes. He just comes off as being in the educated category, which always gives off some type of feminine vibe.

From the very beginning he just speaks the cold hard facts about how exhausting all this shyt is.

It's worse because the statistics say it's worse. Kids with unmarried parents are something like 6x more likely to end up in prison and 10x more likely to commit suicide. They are 20x more likely to grow up in poverty.

Once you're having a kid, the legalities of divorce are the least of your problems if things don't work out anyway. The child support and custody battles will be 100x more expensive than the battle for division of marital assets in most cases.

Alimony/half of things in divorce made sense in the 1950s when women didn't work as much. But with women in the workforce even more than men these days it's frickin retarded.

If it's about money my ex was dead broke when we got together. Obviously no prenup needed. I'm also the one who got financially fukked in the divorce. I waived alimony even though I was entitled to it since we'd been married 15 years. I've never been with anyone for money.

Well, he’s a divorce attorney so given what he sees on a daily basis makes him biased.

Although I can say that marriage is really tough and now that the kids are going off to college I’m seeing divorces left and right.

A lot of people get married and stay married for the children. I don’t see that as a bad thing because it would be weird if your parents weren’t married from the kid’s perspective.

Plus, it’s important to have a mother and a father present in the household for the child. My parents drilled that into me and I gave up finding the chance for "love" when I was in a better position in my 30s to be home with the child until she's off to college.

Why do you describe it as you were "entitled" to alimony payments? By family court laws in your state, I'm sure you're right that you'd have had a good case for it.

I'm not talking about that, though. I'm talking about what is morally right. How would it be morally right for you to receive alimomy payments from him after the divorce? Do you still provide him with regular social company, affection, and sex? Of course not. So why should he have been on the hook for paying for your lifestyle long after you've gone? The only way alimony makes sense from a moral standpoint is if the woman did the stay at home mom thing, and wasn't working at the time of the divorce either. Even then, that's kinda bs to me, because no one is stopping you from applying to endless entry level jobs. Sucks for her if the man was a prick and cheated or whatever, but women were the ones who wanted no-fault divorce laws as the law of the land, so whatever.

How exactly were you the one who got fuked over financially, but not him?

Marriage is what you make it. Also picking the right person.

22 years and could not be happier. Being married to a great woman, made me the man I am today. She is a person that inspired me to be better than I am. Had I not married her, I would probably be a divorced, cheater, you name it.

Finding a person that makes you want to devote yourself to them is a good thing. It becomes GREAT when that person is worthy of that and gives you the same back.

I know it is rare, but does that mean it is not worth trying to achieve. Lots of things that we value are 'hard'. Does not mean it is not worth trying.

out of all the posts I never once saw people mentioning that when you meet someone for the first time and you date for a while isn't even close to actually living together with someone for years.

especially after marriage you will find out who you really married later on in the beginning everyone is at their best behavior but you only really get to know the real person when you have been living together for at least a couple of years.

Good for you, same goes to my parents. But times are different nowadays, hard to compare relelationships of other generations to relationships of this generation. Mindsets are different, circumstances are different.

If he was broke why were you entitled to alimony? Did he end up with a good job and you end up as a sahm?
