Yeah, no arguments there, although I guess it's nice to at least still have freedom of speech (mostly) and fairly straightforward access to modern firearms.

I'm not mocking the UK but merely lamenting its fall from greatness, particularly because my mom's side of the family originated there. Plus, the British were once a distinct people (Americans sort of were but only pretty early on). Weird to see a Prime Minister named Rishi Sunak, a Sadiq Khan as the mayor of London, or foreign invaders being housed in hotels while actual UK citizens are homeless.

I cant stand this "us and them" attitude to the UK in the Misc, we share similar cultures, attitudes and values. We should be far more united on the forum not forever criticizing because there are slight differences.
I suspect a lot of what is written here is just all show and if you where to meet someone from the UK you'd be as nice as pie to them!

For real I think British people and culture are pretty well respected in America. Tons of British media still makes its mark here either in original form, or in remakes.
