Yeah, everyone knows someone like that, doesn't mean this is the way. I also know people who have lost or even fluctuated many times and it was due to their diet every time and having willpower. I also know way more people who eat like shyt and look like it. The anecdotal evidence of a genetic anomaly is not the norm.

Yea people don't have the willpower or want to do what they need to do. It's that simple.

Take any person and put them on a ketogenic diet while building momentum on building work capacity by slowly increasing their output and movement, and soon their body will turn into an incinerator.

From all the diets I've done in my life, my insane metabolism, and my absurd appetite, I learned that the best way to control cravings and appetite is by going ketogenic. Once you break the few weeks of cravings and have little to no carbohydrates, you realize that the carbs were the source of your cravings. It's actually insane how manageable your appetite is on a fat adapted form of dieting.

The problem is most people won't stick to it and just say "oh it's just my genetics and my appetite!" Pure cope. If I can do it then anyone can. They just can't get past the few weeks of cravings and always give in and self sabotage themselves. They negotiate themselves to give in "just a little" and not realizing they wrecked the progress they were making.

In a society with no patience, of course they're going to convince people "ozempic" is the real cure of your problems. Not your mentality, not your poor habits that have been ingrained in you for years, and not your willpower.

Oh you mean eating correctly? Getting rid of your poor habits and then implementing new good habits?

It's literally the same thing as taking antacids thinking that is curing your acid reflux when you're actually treating the symptom and screwing yourself over long term.

No it doesn't. It somehow destroys your appetite or keeps you feeling satiated. In turn, you then eat less. When you eat less, don't snack, and go longer periods of time without eating, you start to lose weight. This then helps repair your liver.

It's shocking how much people are obsessed with pills and potions to "fix" something like magic when literally the best tools to healing your body are good eating habits, exercise, and getting good sleep.

willpower is a boomer way of thinking from a generation that never had to do anything difficult. they don't understand that willpower is a finite resource and nobody can grind out 24/7 whiteknuckling without breaking. If you can, then it isn't that hard to begin with. Obese people often have mental and hormonal circumstances working against them when it comes to losing weight, and I'm all for something that can help them out if it's safe. I'm not gatekeeping weightloss or getting all pissy because I did it the "right way" or something... especially since I've fuked around with chit like ECA, t3, and dnp lol.

That being said, I do somewhat pity people who will not experience the journey of changing their lives and habits, because figuring out how to do that often improves you as a person. But so will going from 300 lbs to 200 lbs I suppose.
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

The trick is just to find satiating foods which I think keto does a lot of by omitting carbs

There's a satiety index if you google it.

Long story short- protein and fiber are satiating and fill you up. Carbs don't.

If you go to chipotle and eat a double chicken salad, the macros are 820 calories 40g fat/75g protein/45g carbs. Under 1000 calories and you get a **** ton of food, 75g of protein as well. I never walked out of chipotle having eaten a double chicken burrito bowl and felt hungry after.

Two meals of that and you're at 1640 calories, 80g fat/150g protein/90g carbs. Guarantee most people have no issue losing weight on a diet like this because the protein just keeps you feeling full for a long ass time.

Maybe throw in a brotein shake for another 200 calories in the morning. Easy 1840 calories and 180g of protein. It's just too easy

I've had no issues losing weight when I eat high protein diets

While that is completely true, carbs literally create the cravings.

The need to eat carbs constantly, or rather want, is from the need to spike your blood sugar back up. That's why sugar is one of the most addicting substances in the world.

I ate just as much meat eating the vertical diet with extra meals of junk food and chocolate milk than I do with eating keto. I had vegetables with every main meal on the vertical diet. It's the carbs that increase the cravings so that you can eat more food.

So yes, keto is basically keeping the satiating foods with higher protein and higher fats, but it also eliminates the need for constant insulin spikes. Every person will notice on a ketogenic diet you also do not get tired after eating. Why? Blood sugar. You're fat adapted and in ketosis so you're utilizing fat for energy vs. the need for carbs/glucose. That's the role of carbs. Carbs are extremely quick and efficient, but if abused comes a lot of issues.

No. It is supposed to help.with cirrhosis which now there is currently no cure. Nothing to do with diet or lifestyle habits. It has some very positive effects not related to obesity

They are partially right partially wrong.

As someone who worked out as a natty for like 10 years. When I went enhanced the difference is day and night. When you use powerful pharmaceutical drugs. They are capable of making your body do amazing things. With that said. Fat people do just have lower will-power. You eat more calories then you burn for years on end. And the weight just stacks on.

Ozempic actually has dangerous side effects and can be high risk. They are currently being sued by some soccer moms for their health issues now.

No idea why a chick wouldn't just use Anavar and lift weights like 3x per week. Cardio 3x per week. Will get a much sexier body.

Blows my mind that AAS are demonized and the guys that use them are hated. Yet soccer moms taking powerful drugs so they can not be fat is accepted/wide-spread.

I’m on Ozempic and yes, the side effects can be tough—nausea, constipation, etc.

It’s great to have the reduced appetite and cravings as my weight mgmt Dr. said that I take 5 anti-anxiety and depression meds that cause weight gain.

He does limit you to 1500 calories and to ensure you have 100 g of protein a day, lift 3-4 times a week to avoid muscle wasting, and drink a lot of water and fiber. I told him that it’s tough to get down to 1500 the days when I’m working out and he said to just do my best to get down there. He wants exercise 5x a week.

Although yesterday I walked for 45 minutes and I was only hungry for 1100 calories. I’m moving up to the higher dose but the weight loss is great. I can’t wait to see 6 months from now.

People have different metabolisms.

My husband is thin and has never dieted a day in his life. He can eat whatever.

My Dad’s side of the family struggles with weight. My Dad lost 40 lbs with Trulicity, which is a diabetes drug similar to Ozempic.

I’m at 1350 calories now.

It can be done with will power alone. I went from 300+ pounds to a lean 215 in a little over a year. I was natural too... Metabolism isn't a fixed variable. If you have a poor diet, drink a lot, and live a stagnant lifestyle, your metabolism slows down. If you eat well, lift, and do cardio you will increase your metabolism. Everybody wants to be lean and look good, but don't want it enough to put the effort in for the long haul. I get it, it's easier to take a pill.

The headline of this article is incorrect. I saw it earlier, and as a person on Ozempic they had it wrong

It does stop binge eating. It’s really bizarre how it just goes away. When I’m taking psych meds I’m always hungry at night and I’ll even eat when I’m asleep.

I was able to use willpower to be underweight but that was before meds.
