Well I do just miss the life we had under him. I even lived well with Obama. Since Biden took over cost have skyrocketed for people . Under trump everything was cheap af in comparison. My personal feelings about Biden aside too. I’m just ready to go back to normalcy.

Not a Trumper so maybe I'm not the target. Didn't vote for Trump (or Hillary) the first time. Did vote Trump the 2nd. My thoughts:

He wouldn't be my first or second choice for 2024. I don't think he has any real convictions, so I don't really trust him on anything other than doing what he thinks is best for him. On spending he was almost as bad as a democrat. He did try very hard to get the wall built and to repeal and replace Obamacare. Personally, I would prefer to go back to preObamacare, but I suppose it was a step in the right direction. I don't trust him at all on 2nd amendment issues, although, again, he will do what he thinks is in his best interest. The biggest issue to me is fiscal responsibility. We've been able to maintain world dominance due to our wealth as a country and I agree with what FA******* said above:Unfortunately, Trump is bad on fiscal responsibility, but I see the democrat options as worse. We are on a road to insolvency either way, I just think Trump gets us there marginally slower. In addition, I do think he gave us three very good justices from the perspective of upholding the constitution and not twisting it to fit their agenda. I don't want justices that vote in lock step with politics, I want justices that seek to understand the constitution and vote according to their convictions. In that regard, I think his picks are some of the best. You could argue he got lucky, and I wouldn't disagree; however, every time I've hear Merrick Garland talk, I've thought about the possibility of him being a justice instead of Gorsuch and I've shuddered. To some it up, I don't love Trump, I just see him as better than the alternative democrats.

And the justices are not even that great...all three of them have voted alongside the liberals in high profile cases at various points. They're not *all* going to join the liberals in the same case, they keep alternating.

The point he's making is that appointing those type of Justices is something any republican president would have done if the opportunity had been there (and he didn't create the opportunity). Trump ran as an anti-establishment figure, and appointing conservative justices because the vacancies were there doesn't set him apart from other politicians.
