There are idiots on both sides of the political spectrum, that's for sure. But the thing that never made sense to me was the fact that dems went from being the party that was skeptical of the govt, wars, the financial industry, etc... to the party that trusts the govt, media, and all things that have only proven to be corrupt and untrustworthy. R's and D's have completely flipped their stance on more positions than one.

It took a political outsider who everyone threatened would destabilize world relations and bring us to war... to keep us out of war. This is despite the state department and military industrial complex doing everything in their power to lure trump into a war. People should realize by now that establishment R's and D's will always hold the same position when it comes to foreign policy-- because they are controlled by the same powers. And it's foreign policy that matters long term. We squabble over whether men can or can't have babies, while the big decisions that influence the future of the planet are already set in stone, regardless of who enters office (unless a true outsider wins).

Dems also want war now. During the 90’s and 00’s republicans were seen as blood thirsty warmongers . Democrats flooded the streets in protest during bush taking us to iraq. They were anti war. Now they are the ones who want war. It’s been flipped.

This is true-- nearly all people from all walks of life and all ethnicities can live together peacefully. Though if you turn on the news, all you hear about is how white supremacy and racism is destorying the country. Does it exist? Of course. It always will to some degree. But unlike how people talk when hidden behind a computer screen, in real life most people just get along or ignore each other.
