But in 2019, when people like you tell us how great the Trump economy was, the Fed LOWERED rates. Of course they kept them low when Trump crashed the economy in 2020 and during Biden's stabilizing of the country in 2021. Note that the Fed started raising rates bigly in 2022 when the economy was booming thanks to Biden.
