Not if you're obese and have multiple co-morbidities. Which is basically the op, but hope she pulls through.

OP, what’s your O2 saturation? Respiration rate? Pulse rate? Are you on supplemental O2 or room air? Chest X-ray negative for pneumonia? How’s your blood work?
O2 saturation was 89-90 so it was borderline on the low side. Pulse 77

It was the stabbing pain in my chest and inability to swallow without being in a ton of pain that sent me to the ER.

The blood work showed a high white blood cell count and low Chloride and some other numbers were off.

But now we know it’s pneumonia.

Interesting about the swallowing issue. I wonder what causes that.

Not being a dick, but can you explain why tuyere giving yoI antibiotics if you have viral pneumonia? I am not saying you’re lying, I just don’t understand why they would do that.

Glad you’re where you need to be, though.

He's giving me antibiotics to start in a few days as I'm borderline being bacterial pneumonia. At first he said it was viral pneumonia and no antibiotics, but then he went back and reviewed my chest x-ray and prescribed the antibiotics.

I mean they're ER doctors. They said my Mom had a mild stroke and she's still incapacitated and bedridden 1 year later.

No, you're not being a dick

Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

I think I might have caught COVID yesterday. I had a fever, upset stomach, and muscle pains. It wouldn't be surprising as my parents have had COVID this week. this morning i' doing much better, though energy levels are lousy and I have a cough.

Get better soon. I had a nasty cold myself last week with severe symptoms lasting 48 hours or so. I still have a bit of a stuffy nose and phlegmy cough. I remember I also had some chest pain that made it really uncomfortable to sleep.
