I'd be cool visiting like 6 places, all within a 3 hour drive, for the rest of my life.

I travel for work and there's always a 20 - 30% chance there's going to be a delay so it's something to brace yourself for.

Flying is brutal. The whole process is so long and annoying. It's very uncomfortable on a long flight especially having very long legs.

Thankfully I always end up sitting next to normal or well mannered people though so it could be worse.

I do have a knack for always being on a flight with major delays from absurd inconveniences. It's almost laughable that half of my flights have an issue like a girl puking on flight right before take off, a black lady needing to get wheel chaired off after an emergency landing, flying home from tampa and instead of cancelling the flight we fly through two giant super cell storms just to land in Nebraska for over an hour and then fly home to chicago. Always something.

Agreed. People shouldn't eat, drink, sleep in a bed, or sleep at all when traveling. Next level logic there Chuck. But I get what you mean. Poorly done though.

I don't mind the actual flying part, its extremely inconvienent in every other aspect.

The biggest thing that makes me weary these days is that its not a reliable form of transportation with all the cancellation/delays ect. As much as I shouldn't worry so much while on vacation, I'm always anxious about being able to get back home because the high probability of airline ****ery

Where do you guys get the money to do annual international traveling trips or more, especially if you're doing it in a way that's actually enjoyable? It costs good coin to travel for internationally vacation trips unless you're taking the cheapest flights possible and spending all of your time getting "cultured" by hanging around locals in some dump of a village or something. I am convinced that a majority of people who travel in elaborate ways frequently are in heaps of credit card debt.

I don't know. I have the travel bug and I feel like I live in airports and planes.

Planes are inconvenient, uncomfortable, and the worst are the screaming babies around you. It's the adventure of Europe or some cool island that gets me.

I won't be on one for awhile as I have a lot of car repairs

I once sat next to a dude in cattle class whose breath was so rancid I had to drape my leather jacket over my head for the four hour duration. People were wondering what the fuk was wrong with me. Just the normal act of him breathing, not even looking at me, was enough to stink out the row.

Business class or fuk it.

Biggest factor I can think of. It's one thing having to deal with the security and all the annoying crap that is apart of being in airports, but now it's getting like a greyhound station.

Too much money, flights are worse than ever after RONA and there's more delays/issues and "hidden fees" than ever before

I'm talking specifically about flying...I'm still okay with road trips
I am the same way now. Flying use to be cool and fun when was teen and early adulthood but after gaining life experience and knowing what goes in behind close doors in the cockpit puts zero confidence in planes and pls don’t bring up conp claiming it is safer than cars, bc it is not. Watch enough air disasters to know most crashes are due to pilots air bc they reply on autopilot and don’t actually fly the plane, next most common is pilot suicide where they lock the cock when copilot goes to take a piss.
Much more cars quantatively taking off on road where planes are limited to the elites and the company’s belong to elites and it’s common for these company’s to bypass maintaince and repair to save but mostly to profit.
Also when a plane has trouble, bam, 200-300 dead. Car, most likely live tbh unless your just unlucky and got f up or being an inattentive driver.

Anyways I haven’t flown in maybe 10 years and I try continue to not unless it’s something
crucial such as saving my mom or shet like that, otherwise I’m driving or I’m not going. Rather car drive and be in control then put my life in some pilots that new or angry at the company or Denzel on flight which I’ll take his skill over the rest except for Sutherland. Drive my own I get to do what I want, such as smoking, taking rails and mountains, getting koch suck and so on.

Anyways I’m geeked so just wrote this hella fast. Good night ****ers, I love y’all, only crew I Fuks with tbh but it dying and getting gayer for real. Loyal to the game.

Plane travel used to be just ok for me but the post cuckvid travel surge made it 1,000x worse.

My flight last month, plane broke down. The very same one I flew on and landed, just didn't want to go back into the sky? 2 hours gone and the gate people never talk. Just stand around with a delayed message on the board behind them.

Airport toilets full of chit because people can't flush.

Return trip I took Amtrak in a roomette. Damn thing was almost 3 hours late but riffraff are in coach where I never have to see them.

I enjoy flying, after I got over the unreasonable fear of it. I fly domestically all the time, flights of which are comparable to some international flights because Australia is a huge friggin' country. I just make sure to buy aisle seats and buy the extra legroom.

I use the time to read, or do work on my laptop, or catch up on shows.

Flying across the USA is still only like $225-250 for roundtrip economy. More if you have extra luggage and what not.

I'm probably younger at 28, but I find excitement out of flying srs. Drinking at terminal bars makes the wait more fun and tolerable. It saves so much time compared to a road trip, as well as money too when you consider gas and adding on miles to the vehicle. I take back the money thing though if you are then forced to Uber/taxi everywhere.
