When I was a kid like 10yo, I mentioned to my parents how weird it was that POOR people and RICH people lived exactly the same but to different standards.
They looked at my like the weirdo I am today. I explained that poor people spend most of their time with their families and hobbies/fishing SAME as rich people who have more expensive stuff but essentially live in the same manner.
WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE SOCIOECONOMIC CLASSES? at work...hustling to make some payment on something or another (i.e. the middle class). Of course they value their weekends! (LOfukingL).
Of course i was right then and now, did you know that miscers here always make fun of rentcels but THE RICH also have a high percentage of renting like the POOR. Its cuz they realize the ROI they can get from renting & investing their income is greater than if they lived in a house and moreover it gives them MOBILITY! (again going back to my other post CONTROL OVER YOUR TIME!).
btw: owning a house doesn't always pay off (except for all you 10Kaday CEO miscers who don't tip at restaurants, etc. of course....I made a post years ago that some black swan event would occur (was laughed at by miscers) but then came Joe Biden)
fun fact: elon don't be owning a house, that n-word is too dang mobile.

You have chosen a careerpath of leisure. You have some structure and purpose to your existence, as opposed to just being a dropout with a chip on their shoulder.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Society has no use for the bottom 15% of the population. In the US that is 50 million people, completely useless, so stupid that even the military wont take them to be a cook, guard or driver. So we just put them on welfare and let in any low IQ illegal that feels like coming in. The illegals these days dont even work anymore like they used to, they get put up in hotels now by the tax payers, you think there is jobs for 100k illegals a month on farms? most of that is automated and for the manual jobs the farms already have enough illegals.

THE ONLY THING YOU OWN IN YOUR LIFE (IF YOU ARE LUCKY!) IS YOUR TIME.
The problem with many jobs is that they swallow you whole. Basically taking up your entire day with a few hours of downtime in between. Now if you are highly paid or you work in a job of passion (taking care of animals) then good on you. But for most people the juice isn't worth the squeeze. For example, housewives who work but whose income only covers the cost of childcare with no true upward-mobility (not a law partner track etc.).
Not saying you should be NEET, but recognize that billions of have lived and died before you and are forgotten (as you likely will). How you choose to your time (re happiness) is most important. obvs take care of your kids family etc. as a factor too.

obviously when you're on the younger side you think the juice isn't worth the squeeze, because YOU ain't worth sheeeeit. Younger guys have no intrinsic value, unlike young women, so they must build themselves into something worth a damn, and spend years learning a valuable skill. Once you actually start leveling up in life you realize how awesome it is....and more likely than not, you'll be angry at yourself for not getting a jump start on everything sooner, and falling into that stupid defeatist / nihilistic mindset.
Let's see....what am I doing over the next 7-10 days - I have a long term GF from El Salvador (almost 6 years), she's traditionally feminine and cooks / cleans / takes care of me, literally packs me my lunch at work everyday and meal preps for me - since I own my own home in an extremely high COL area, I rent out my extra rooms as I'm one of the very few people (man or women) who has my OWN home that's not split / bought with wife etc and I just rented another room to a SMOKING hot 25 year old from Medellin Colombia, she speaks basically no English and I speak basically no Spanish, my Salvadorian GF and her were cleaning the house together over Labor Day weekend, and the Colombian girl said "I feel like we are both house wives". She's literally fresh off the boat, came to the US for better opportunity, and looks at me like I'm a god or a space alien because I've got money. (I'm not going to smash or even try, that's just reckless, but it's still hot to have 2 hotties in skimpy clothes cleaning my house). Also where I live, I've got a 19 year old side chick that I smash
Next week I'm going to Eastern Europe, not bringing my GF, it's primarily a vacation, but I've already got dates line up in Warsaw Poland where all of the 10/10 Eastern European Ukranian chicks have fled from the war, and now I'm going to be a rich good-looking chad surrounded by 10/10 women who have fled war and want nothing more than a man with a US Passport.....it's like fishing with dynamite, not even fair. Then I'll be hitting up Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest, I'll keep my womanizing to a minimum there, but if the opportunity presents itself you never know. The point is I have the FREEDOM to take a trip like this whenever I want and nobody can say chit about it - I pay the cost to be the boss.
Why do I say all this? Hopefully to motivate you young guys who don't think "the juice is worth the squeeze" and everything is hopeless blah blah blah. The entire purpose I even visit this forum anymore is to help younger dudes, because I was there once - you aren't going to like the advice, but it's THE TRUTH - as a man, you just have to "man up" and start the uphill climb and just grind out small gains and small wins for 10+ years before you'll really start to see bigger benefits from all that work.
Here are the most important things which WILL lead to success:
1) Be in the gym - this is a lifetime activity, if you want to live into your older years and still look good / feel good this is non-negotiable. Plus being fit makes you attractive from multiple different angles - first of all it gives you confidence, you'll carry yourself differently, other men don't even bother to mess with you, you aren't a target for crime / theft (criminals will move on to a weaker target), you'll look amazing in well-fitted clothes, your style will improve, in addition to all the other health benefits. So fitness is #1.
2) Consistency and Disipline - you'll learn this from the gym, or from playing sports as a kid. You will not be successful if you don't complete your "mission" every single day, without fail. Go to the gym, go to school, go to work, build skills, repeat, repeat, repeat. When things get hard you can't quit, you must push through. Whatever profession you choose to go into - make sure the average salary for your job title will give you a comfortable life, if it doesn't, find another profession. It's hard work - you don't just come out of college and make $200k/yr - you have to have the skill set so someone will PAY YOU $200k/yr because your skills are worth it. This will take 10 years. The 10 years prior to covid I NEVER had a single week where I worked fewer than 60hrs. In the gym by 6am, at desk by 8am, home at 830PM. That takes consistency and discipline.
3) Social Skills & People - Almost every single job I've had has come from a recommendation of someone I work with. I've built a very good professional reputation, people come to me and ask if I want to consider joining XYZ company all the time. Blindly applying on LinkedIn / Indeed is where the chit-tier level jobs are, the good jobs are never advertised because they get filled before a company needs to recruit for them. Sure, take a crappy job when you're getting your start in an industry, but as soon as your foot is in the door you need to be networking, seeing what path others have taken, building a good reputation for yourself, having a reputation as a guy who just gets chit done - all of this is helped by your social skills, and how you present yourself (which goes back to item #1). The "Halo Effect" is a real thing, if you look good people will remember you and it's just human nature you will be treated better, people will listen to you and take you seriously etc if you have a nice physical appearance. Build your social network, you can't do everything on your own.
4) Grind grind grind - be humble, willing to learn, when you're young take every opportunity you can get - if you're under 30 there's really no such thing as "I don't have time" you have no real obligations, you are super-human and don't need much sleep, and your body can be punished beyond what it can take when your 30+.
5) Being complacent and being comfortable is your enemy. If you find yourself getting comfortable, saying "I've got this under control" or not pushing yourself, you've F'ed up. That means you aren't growing, aren't learning new skills, which means in reality, you're falling behind.
That's my bit for today - back to work for me - Best of luck for you guys out here actually seeking to improve and make something of your life.

btw: I mentioned highly-paid in my initial post as an exception. It is truly Amazing what Bezos has done tbh. His business acumen must be 10 levels above someone owning real estate, car dealer, store, etc. its truly amazing that he turned amazon into such a force. initially it was about selling books. he more or less created a different concept.
needs to mentioned he has a support-ship follow him (prolly where the staff live etc.). BALLLER!

You can be snarky all you want, doesn't hurt me, my life is going great. Lets focus on you - if what I wrote above is not a formula for success, could you please share yours? Can you share what outcomes you've achieved?

Something you should realize - do you notice how nobody cares that you guys want to be losers? You aren't changing anything, you aren't striking back at the system, nobody is going to notice.....so why not actually work hard and maximize the 1 life you have?
I'll tell you why, people who can't compete, or who refuse to compete, love calling everything unfair, which goes back to why I said they are attracted to socialism and marxism - it literally means everyone is equal, which of course is very attractive when you are in the bottom percentile of performers or bottom percentile of aptitude.
The fresh off the boat immigrant girl from Columbia I was mentioning......she has a positive can-do attitude and doesn't speak English, she's making $50k tax free under the table, and $25k picking up odd jobs (DoorDash, Instacart, Dog Walking, Nanny, etc) grossing $75k after being in the US for 7 months. What's your excuse?

maybe thats what you dont understand about NEET's
do you notice how NEET's dont care how successful you are?
and again youre going into "just work lots" than you will be successful and its easy!
WRONG. its not easy. especially if you have family and friends or medical issues. not eveyone can be on stims and work 60+ hours a week. also what she is doing is illegal. coming to great america to make money and avoid paying tax is wrong.
