Vivek is just saying **** at this point. He's really trying to sell himself to the unhinged Republican base, but he doesn't actually believe most of this crap.

Guy accepted a 50k Soros affirmative action grant lol. He's called Trump a threat to democracy before. He is not some hardcore right winger.

I think people are catching on a bit, his interview with Medhi Hasan was not a good look for him. So as far as overcoming being a brown Hindu and getting the core of the party to back him yeah he has no chance.

Alright bud, you keep fighting the good fight for all the people of the third world to come over and have babies who automatically become US citizens, so that the hardworking producers in America can finance their whole lives while not having any kids of their own!

What a great system you got going there! LOL

I mean it's not like being a US citizen actually means anything anymore right?

My thoughts exactly.

Also, if you are born on American soil(there are 100s of islands you never heard of that qualify) and your parent is here illegally or on a any type of visa, you are not an American citizen and you have to go back.....regardless of how long you've been here.

PS. the avg age of DACA(media still calling them kids lol) is 29.

Vivek is free to change the law if he wants this to change [Which would be quite difficult considering it's embedded in the 14th Amendment]. But naturally, he is just saying this like he can do it via Executive Order to appeal to the poorly educated Trump fanbase.

If you’re born on us soil you’re a citizen. You can’t deport citizens. You might not like it, and it’s kind of silly in some ways, but barring a Constitutional amendment that’s the way it is.

You can, Eisenhower deported plenty of citizens during operation wetback.

But answer the question: you want the kids to grow up in orphanages?

Of course not, but we can’t forcibly deport citizens who have broken no laws.

Yeah I have never understood the hate that DeSantis gets on here. I mean he doesn't just push conservative issues, he pushes what many would consider FAR RIGHT conservative issues. And he has done it consistently.

So he isn't the smoothest speaker and doesn't have much of a personality. Who cares. Is he friends with Israel? Yes. But so is Trump. I would rather have a bland man who has his track record and who the Dems could at least try to work with rather than Trump who even if he does win is going to face 4 years of attacks from the MSM and the Democrats. Nothing will get done. Total chaos. Plus he had his chance and really didn't get much done when he was in office. He was too worried about trying to get everyone to like him rather than get the issues pushed through that he campaigned on.

I get Trump is charismatic and lots of people like his attitude, (I voted for him twice) but him getting elected is not going to help this country. DeSantis could at least have a chance.

If mom and dad are deported, kids gotta go back too. No matter citizen or not. Sure, you can come in with an adult. We can put in some regulations that make it hard AF though. Terrible foster home or mom or dad. Your choice.

Gotta go back.

I said this exact thing and the conservatives here screamed that I was racist for saying it. It's not just his race, it's that he's Hindu/not Christian. No way he would get enough votes.
