3 plates = 275lbs for around 5/6 reps.
If I see someone reppin 275 I give them respect

Our joints can become accustomed to force production at end-ranges in all planes, you just have to work up to allowing the tissues to accommodate the positions.
My suggestion would be start by just being able to do a full, ATG dip, paused. Go all the way down, as far as range allows, and just hold it. You don’t even have to come back up, just stretch it out for a few weeks.
It will take a few weeks for it to adapt.
Then add weight:

but yeah depends on the motivation, I was short/small and started lifting for football like 15 years ago, when your max bench was pretty much all the bros cared about.
I couldn't curl 40's but I could bench over 315 easy with like 13 inch arms at like 170 with no abs... got my dink hard when I was about to bench people's maxes as a warmup, and people would ask if I needed a spot because that's a lot of weight...
Now I prefer DB press and OHP, I can DB press 100's for 15+ reps, but 185 on bench hurts

The funny thing about this thread is how some of you are busy watching others so closely.
I could understand if they were in leggings with a sexy ass or a fantastic body but what random Broccoli heads lift or regular dudes,, nahhh.
Headphones, check, a energizing song, check, drink, check, psyching myself up, check.

There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!
