It's a turnoff to me if a woman's aspirations are to be a housewife and completely depend on her man.

I desire to be wanted, not needed.

Never understood why being "educated" is important in relationships outside of earning power.

College is mostly worthless outside of the piece of paper you get at the end and the networking/social opportunities it opens up.

Okay but the question is why do they advertise that to men, thinking a guy gives a fuk? Go read up on women's dating profiles and they will usually tout her job as a reason you should pick her.

women made the game and decided to be judged by their careers because they are equal...why not do that? lord knows they will judge men based on every criteria conceivable. seems kinda simpish to go the...ohh baby nothing matters aside from you being cute route.

a woman making $75k or $100k+ means A LOT to 99% men as far as total household income. The only ones it may not matter to are those making $500k+/year. Even at $500k though...an extra $100k still means something.

It shows she has discipline to finish something they started. - Most women are emotional and sticking to for something for 4 years shows they can suck it up to finish.

Likewise we have degree choice as an indicator of how grounded she is on what generates ROI.

Not saying a degree is the only way. Just that they are clear indicators of behaviors.

Yeah looks are everything. why get a 5/10 average sloot with a 100k+ job when you can get a 7/10 sloot with a 40k job. Grand scheme of things, good career is just way down the priority list.

Case in point. Would you rather: Dusty, a 2/10 with a supposed "good" career (ignore mental illness, pill addiction, single mother status, the fact that she's been run through, annoying/needy personality etc) or a 7/10 with no job. What about a 5/10?

It's just good to have your sloot have a job so she can buy her own **** and not leech off you. Beyond that, it doesn't matter imo

They believe it's a selling point, and based on this thread it is, to some.

Imo it's a lot of pressure to put on the guy to be the sole earner. If he can, that's great, but how many men can actually work while their wife stays home? I'm thinking the majority of households require two incomes.

Right,but why?

Men don't give a fuk if you have some high level executive job you can wank yourself over on LinkedIn. "I have a job" is pretty much the extent of what men want/need. But do they say that? No, they boast their nursing career or working 70+ hours in finance.

The men in this thread saying they want a woman to work, aren't particular at all about WHAT she does. Its obvious the women are projecting and assuming men are attracted for some reason.

Eh, I think men are split on this. A good amount love to brag about what their wife does, that they are in med school, or an astronaut (j/k there are no female astronauts). All men don't think the same, and especially liberal men probably want their wife to earn as much $$ as possible.

Women think men desire the same traits in them that they desire in men.

It’s similar to a man thinking he can find an “honorable” or “disciplined” woman when these are traits exclusive to men.

ideally a man would go for a woman that brings looks and a shared vision/desire to put in work to the table.

this rubs me as simping when a man demands a woman only bring looks to the table.

and also, looks are somewhat of a fleeting thing when it comes to marriage that is supposed to last 30-50+ years. good chance that 7 could drop to a 5 by her mid 40s...then you're stuck with an entitled, lazy, princess that has you by the balls because if things go south and you aren't doing everything than she gets most of everything you spent 20+ of your adult years working for.

at least the 5 has shown drive and determination which could mean she won't fall any lower than a 5 that also makes your life easier.

Pretty simple. Most women don't have housekeeping skills.

They are not June Cleaver. With a clean house, dinner ready, shopping done, kids home work done.

This means that they are now expected to provide return in other ways.

Beyond that we have the economic reality that it is very hard to survive as a single income family in 2023.

For someone who has little to no experience in the matter you seem to have a better grasp than most guys here which is unsettling lol

You know that cute cashier at the gas station? I would almost be willing to bet my life she's seen miles of dink. Women working jobs like that are super sloots 99% of the time. The usually aren't very quick on the uptake which almost directly correlates with having high time preference and not thinking about consequences. Sure there are super sloots in every profession where women are allowed to work but the lower you go on the totem pole the slootier they are. I'm telling you even if they made the same money the target cashier is a riskier bet than the attorney or the accountant

Because a bachelors degree is pretty much a requirement to get into decent social circle and climbing the ladder. I come from nothing, and if not for education, I’d be nothing. My social circle consists of people that are mostly college educated, down to earth, good people, who are well read and have their chit together. I’d want her to fit in. Also, she can be a social worker or a teacher, I could careless, but I want to emphasize education to my children, therefore, I’d want her to value that and raise my children as such.

Luckily, I don’t have to worry about any of that anymore being married with children. Wife is SAHM now, and is an amazing mother.

-Marries career woman and only deals with married woes

I don't care if she doesn't have a bachelor's degree, that's silly thinking. Me being an introvert, I don't give a chit about hanging around snobby educated folks anyway.

What really matters is if
-She has goals and working towards those goals. Could be her own business, could be very involved in the community, etc.
-She supports you in your investments and not just spend your money.

Women want a provider. (And oftentimes one they will milk dry after no-fault divorce kicks in and she fuks his supposed "best friend" or her boss on a "business trip." What's the divorce rate, again?)

Men want an attractive woman to plow and to rear his children. She could work at a gas station, as long as she's cute and feminine he's all set.

LOOOL at this delusion. As if female lawyers, accountants, and nurses aren't taking dink from employees on their level and the bosses. All it takes is long hours, afterwork funtions, drinks, or some out of state business convention.

Come on man, you can't be this delusional. Any woman can have miles of dink regardless of their backgroun.

Well there's "career women" who's life revolves around their career. Obviously that's a red flag and waste of time. Then there's women who have a career. Which is your typical woman who isnt a fukin loser and could be worth raising a family with.

Lastly is women without a career, which is the biggest waste of time because they are probably a degen/unstable retard that cant make it on the easiest country on planet earth. I couldnt imagine spending time with a girl like that unless its just a pump and dump, which is also a waste of time at 30+.

But this is misc. The same incels talking about having their "wife" stay at home, also dont want kids and cry about women on social media, while also complaining about how expensive life is being a wageslave.

The problem with women with high-earning careers

is that they lose their feminity and are low on agreeness.

No guy wants to work all day and come home and headbutt with a women....

Did you read the second half of my post? Obviously any woman can be sloot but the percentages are much higher in less professional jobs. If you think lawyers are equally as slooty as hairdressers you don't have enough experience with one or the other. I'll give you nurses, they are a special case and are some of the slootiest sloots around

I think it's important - a) why would anyone want a dumb or a lazy broad? b) it's good to have comparable lifestyles. If i'm working long hours, having a woman that sits around at home all day with nothing to do isn't gonna end well.

Both are sloots regardless so it really doesn't matter. Besides, you don't think waitresses are in school for law/business/medicine?

The end game is a non sloot.

What you're looking for is high inhibition. It's the ability to stop and think about the consequences of something before you do it, like drinking 3 AMFs with your boss. And it ties in closely with education and career achievement.

You know how most male incels don't have sex because they are avoidant and overthinkers? You want a woman who doesn't have sex because she's an avoidant overthinker.

A woman in say med school has already proven that she can delay gratification and think ahead. She's sitting and studying some super boring chit for 8 hours straight because there will be a payoff years later. A low inhib sloot is going "this is hard", snapping that book shut, and running off for a quick dopamine hit. And she would have been weeded out of the program a long time ago.

Now if high inhib med school girl is on a first date with a guy, she may be getting tingles for him, but she's not going to run into the bathroom and suck him off. She's going to delay gratification and think about the consequences. "What if he just wants to fukk and chuck me", "what if he has an STD", "how do I know he's not married", "what if he's a true-crime cereal killer", etc etc. And she's going to make that dude wait until she scopes him out better.

It's neurotic as fukk, but it's basically anti-sloot mode.

So if a girl is in a job where you need to be high-inhib to make it, your odds of dating a gutter sloot go WAY WAY down.

Come on man, you can't be this delusional. Any woman can have miles of dink regardless of their backgroun.
Agreed. Those girl power feminist sloots who try to be a man are the actual worst
