I'm following visual AI pretty closely through the automotive and self-driving car side of things. We need to separate fact from fiction pushed by people who are heavily invested in AI and have incentive to portray it in certain ways, because that is their $$$

An AI, given the option to follow humanistic social habits like consistent self-destruction within it's own species, vs the perfected drone/queen society of, say, a beehive, will likely choose the bee-hive.
