Only 4-6% of physics grads end up working in physics, but they can spin off in many directions. Why did you study molecular dynamics and where did you think it was going to take you in terms of career?

What job skills did your degree give you? Your major sounds useless for real life in 99% of jobs. Learn to code or something like that so you'll be useful. People need to go to college to learn an actual profession and actual skills like medicine, law, etc. Physics is pretty useless without a phd and then you can do research or something along those lines. Masters in physics seems pretty bad for getting hired to most jobs. Shoulda done some type of engineering instead.


Now for useful advice- your college should have some ways to get internships and thats how you can best get some actual job experience.

It works a LOT better than 4.0 by itself and it's infinitely better than 3.5
If you have pro, start a new chat and go to the top where it says plugins and search up the ATS resume plugin then post up all of your information
You'll want to start with the prompt saying "I want you to act as a human resources hiring officer with 45 years in (insert field). Please review the following job post and my attached job history and create an ATS optimized resume for the job"

Then paste the job listing and your job history after this
It should get you a decent start, then just direct it from there

I chose computational physics to learn more about software writing and use. I tried to do this to gain more useful skills. The molecular dynamics portion was a part of the research I was tasked with.
