yeah dude axe fx is the endgame, have you seen the FM9, essntially an AXE in floorboard at this point (minus some cpu power)

Yeah, you can plug right in and use amp modeling with the axe and get amazing quality recordings or run it into a 50w w some V30s.

Love that riff - reminds me of powerslave era maiden maybe

yeah man so much of me wants a real amp but I know digital stuff gets you 99% there, and in a live mix, nobody is gonna notice

Never but I’ve always liked tighter amps. Diezel, Soldano SLO, Uberschall (you can actually get these pretty tight before it gets into triple rectifier territory)
