From memory of a couple seminars I took on him and the Mongols years ago.


The Mongols conquest took much longer than ghengis Khan's lifetime it was going on through his descendants.

Edited this paragraph because I remembered it wrong. Ghengis was the cuck and his first wife was taken by another tribe and ravaged for a few months and then returned and she became pregnant almost immediately so there was always speculation that he was a cuckold. Ancient authors believed this shame and his allowing her back made him rage and was the psychological root of his conquests.

He equally despised all abrahamic religion but made deals for political and military reasons. Later Mongols in the steppe and China were cool with Christians to a certain extant because they were considered as wimpy, not a threat, and servile whereas Jews and Muslims were considered as belligerents because of their religiousness. In mongol China both kosher and halal were illegal to be practiced.

Europe was saved by the death of a mongol leader a couple times. All the warlords would have to return immediately to elect the new leader. Islam was saved by the conversion of the descendants who took the middle east and parts of central Asia. The Mongols also lost a huge battle at Damascus which halted their move into Egypt and North Africa.

There is a lot more interesting stuff about ghengis and his descendants but I don't feel like writing more.

No I took a couple seminars on him years ago. Don't be upset. You have repeatedly demonstrated you are an idiot. I just posted some stuff I remembered from two classes I took almost twenty years ago. I also edited one section because I remembered it wrong. You are a very sad person. There is nothing special about what I posted just things the professors had us read through primary sources.

They failed spectacularly in their second invasion of Hungary, never managed to subjugate Poland, and would have certainly been defeated by armies of France, Germany or England. They were never able to capture fortified stone castles, even when they were surrounded and besieged.

They were tiny manlets on ponies, against European knights in plate armour on destriers they would have been crushed.

They defeated hungary badly in 1241 and had to stop the further conquest of Poland and Hungary because the Khan died in Mongolia. That saved a lot of Europe. They had in that first campaign almost completely destroyed Polish and Hungarian forces. I think you are referring to a later invasion of Hungary near the end of the 13th century and later invasions of Poland after in both areas places that were retained under their control rebelled against their rule. Europe got extremely lucky like North Africa did (the Mongols were beaten at Damascus and that stopped their move into Egypt).

I read a few, and every one was telling slightly different story about same battle. Mongols were more like a mercenaries defending Russian towns from Pols. Mostly partisan tactics, ambush and flee, but they finally worn out Pols army. The Polish king (can't remember name) was continually running out of money to pay his warriors, and half of his warriors were Sweden mercenaries too. Most of theme in memoirs were some boring shiit, and war atrocities.
