I live in a middle class area, partner. Certainly not ghetto or crime-ridden by any means. Would love to own a home, but its incredibly tough to get to that point on a single household income. Its a goal of mine though. But I suspect you're merely trying to take a personal shot at me because I'm pointing out how pot smokers are a burden to society. If that offends you in any way, its only because you know I'm right and are upset that I'm pointing it out. After the age of 16, smoking pot doesn't make you cool or trendy, it makes you a ****ing loser.

Yes, let's let the cartel profit off of it instead of creating American jobs and getting tax revenue. Good thinking OP.

I get it with OP. It becomes a lifestyle of degeneratism and blah. Just a waste of time and a waste of life. I'm not against it, my girl smokes a lot but she has rheumatoid arthritis and now that she smokes a lot she doesn't need pain meds and a few other things plus she loves it. I don't touch it, but that's why it works.

Always hear about the high successful guy who smokes all of the time. Maybe there are some people who are so high strung and busy minded that the weed turns the dial down a bit an actually helps them but the problem is that most weed smokers' dials were already turned way down in the first place.

I definitely don't think weed is harmless, I've seen it first hand aggravate psychosis in a friend of mine which eventually lead to his suicide.

It doesn't fck with you as much as harder drugs or even some prescription drugs, but it does happen. Anything can be addictive, and you're not meant to inhale smoke. I won't smoke the devil's lettuce again because I become absurdly paranoid when high and spend the entire next day just flopped out on the couch doing nothing.

Disregarding any health effect, Y U want to be a stoner anyway? It's the epitome of human failure. Sitting on the lounge all day munching on chips in a miasma of pot smoke doing literally nothing and contributing nothing to society. What a waste of a life. Who could be happy with that?
Back off, Warchild.

Not that simple, skipper. It comes at a cost to society. You can use the same logic to justify legalizing heroin, *******, child trafficking..."Durrrr, just make it legal then tax it! See! Its a GOOD thing!"Pothead rationale at its finest. I swear, so many of you folks go NPC when it comes to defending your precious weed.

I think it has caused more grief for honest people than anything . The cops here used to just give you a breathalyzer test , but now make you do all kinds of stupid chit like put your arms out and look into the sky to see if you’re stable .
I would naturally get vertigo from doing such stupid chit , and would automatically lose my licence because of it .
And as I say ,prior to this legalization chit, you’d rarely get a sobriety test .
So ya I’m not for it.
Besides that ,my neighbours unemployed son lives in her basement, and is perpetually stoned . He’s 44 years old and his biggest concern in life is watering his plants .
Imo it makes people lazy , as I’ve rarely met anyone who’s an ambitious stoner .
North America is finished

If you're discrete (vape/edibles/topicals), I see no problems with it. Don't force it on those around you via the pungent smell or peer pressure of indulgence type of concerns. Enjoy what you enjoy.

The argument everyone hates to hear, but knows is true, is "it's better than alcohol." I like it as a way to feel something different while not intaking excess Calories or harming certain organs.

I felt the psychological affects too after about a year of heavy smoking. By that time I was basically addicted to it...wanted to do it before doing everything. Sorta adopted the lifestyle of the girl I was with because I thought it was harmless. Then it started making me severely depressed...and even more depressed seeing how she couldn't even pay basic bills or clean the house but would always find a way to buy weed. Eventually felt like I didn't know who I was and that living was pointless...just living blunt to blunt. After a year no amount of smoking could make me happy...just made me more and more depressed even as I was smoking. I was chasing the high. At times I thought I needed a harder drug to give me the high that weed did for the first year...luckily didn't go that route. Had to drop the girl because even when I wanted us to quit she would just go do it behind my back. Took me a good year or more to get my mind right again.

Legalizing weed objectively makes sense - it's safe enough, one less street drug to worry about, etc. I indulge and like the convinience of the dispensaries. That said, there are a lot of people who'd be better off without having it in their lives

Drugged out zombies who won't work means dependence and control.

Big taxes on drugs means more government size, reach, and power.

Licensing means the government will create a monopoly.

Regulations means more lobbying.

Legalization means corporatization.

We are far better off with a free market. Now that it's legalized, it's no longer a free market...

I had a friend who got a lot of weed fronted to him in the day he got paid once a month, and he paid the guy but I’m not sure how it worked. He was not rich, but had weed every day.

You're just too stupid and/or ignorant to realize how easy it was to get before it was legal. Maybe you should get outside and converse with people a little more.
