Technology Analyst, $66k, happiness? I haven’t been happy for the last 6/7 years. I’m depressed and my job accounts for about 30% on my depression. I hate the people I work with, I hate what I do.

7/10 - it's WFH, I'm mostly good at it, teammates are mostly great. Most days usually go as expected, there's down time even on the busy days. But the nature of cyber sec is the pressure can go from 0 -> 100 quickly demanding big meetings with legal and VPs, have had to present on stage at conferences which is rewarding but anxiety inducing. I get good benefits (401k match, lots of days off), but so does rest of team, and team is relatively small, so taking days off sometimes feels a little restricting. Boss gives me some of the harder responsibilities.

^ I'm thinking about doing a BS in cybersecurity from WGU. It includes a lot of certs (sec+,a+,network+ and a few others) I also have a Secret clearance/veteran status.
