I have been locked into the PlayStation ecosystem for a long time and even I can say they are completely chitting the bed this gen.
Its all about exclusives and PS4 nailed that while the PS5 has been about remasters of old games.
For fuk sakes its pathetic.
I do not need supposedly prettier graphics on an old game. Its been experienced already.
Further, having any Sony exclusive make it to PC is going to end them and that sems to happening as they offer nothing new years into the life of the PS5. Maybe the PSVR2 can change my mind as some of those games on the OG VR were an awesome experience (RE7, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood).

brand image is a huge factor

i buy consoles based on exclusives.i want my FF and JRPGS so i buy sony.if xbox had those as exclusives id buy xbox.if there was no such thing as exclusives id still buy sony.not getting into MS bullchit.only thing xbox has going for it is GP and thats just the way it is.period.ive never met a serious gamer that prefered xbox
