i think it was in 2018, the only thing that remained was age, and if you changed your user title (the thing underneath your username), then your age would permanently disappear, thats why some people still have age displayed

I remember finally making an account in 2011 after maybe a year of lurking around the forums. I found the misc, lurked for a bit, then made an account.

It was insane. Literally you'd refresh after 10 seconds and the whole front page was brand new threads. So many fukking people on here.

I just remember seeing a ton of zyzz threads and drama around that time and then he died.

I remember being in the college library in between classes reading threads in tears trying not to laugh at loud at some of the threads.

Remember the GoldenGains trolling threads? I can't remember when those were but it was right around 2011 I think.

Misc pre 2012 was great, every day was like watching wrestling Monday night wars pre-2002.

It was just funny chit happening all the time. Like a miscer would be in the library scared to talk to a girl or something. People would post lines or actual helpful advice. Or he would say something extremely awkward. A lot of hilarious memes from miscers text conversations (YIAMSOMEBODY or the ghetto rizz copypasta). Looking back I cant tell if this stuff actually happened or trolling but it was hilarious either way. We raided tinychat and at one point there was a misc tinychat. I mean it's crazy the variety of content and people would post short stories, talk about books, meditation, self-improvement etc. Lots of girls and pics posted. There would be multiple threads going at the same time with that kind of content. Ibby type threads were the norm and every single one was 10+ pages. There were also more active, hot girls around especially in the relationship help section. There were a lot more black miscers and race only came up as a joke. A lot less politically divisive, felt like all walks of life were on the misc.

Misc didn't really change that badly till 2014 or 2015 though. I'm sure it was different from pre 2010 days but it was still wildly entertaining till 2013.
