Sounds like the abortion issue hit the GOP hard again. I'm guessing that having Trump has the face of the party doesn't help matters. With abortion, the number of abortions performed has not changed.

Blaming it on abortion is cope. Republicans in Virginia and other suburban areas that decide statewide elections have been getting destroyed ever since Blumpf was elected. Republicans got utterly rekt in Virginia in 2017.
