If you lift, and you're aesthetic, chances are the habits that got you there make you pretty fkn healthy (not counting roid users ofc). You retain more muscle, stronger bone density, and better hormone levels. Diet takes care of the rest (blood panel values). Add in cardio, and your heart/circulatory system will be A1 (and yes, gym helps with that too).

They all.think if you're lean. Youre healthy. So all the gym goers eat like total.dog ****. Binge eating is big. All.gym.goers have issues with food. Sugar and carb addicts.

it's healthy if you do it right
***** have your form checked by a physio*****
avoid pre workout
avoid PR weight or weight you cant rep 5ish times
do band exercises for stability and to make sure you are engaging the right muscles
do mobility exercises
get a massage or physio treatment periodically to release tension and have them give you activation exercises for muscles that are not being engaged properly
if you do all the above then oods are you will be able to lift into old age and be healthier as a result. issue is lots of meatheads ego lift, get injured, have bad form without knowing it, and consume a bunch of garbage that is good for bulding muscle but not good for overall health

You think because you hit the gym your gonna stay young and healthy. Its the total opposite.
Less stress and a good diet is what keeps you young and healthy. Not the gym.
Show me athletes or runners that live longer then the avg person.
Have you seen washed up meatheads at the gym? They look like dog ****. Like they will collapse of a heart attack any second.
Dead srs.

Exercise and healthy eating and habits go hand in hand. One doesn't mean much without the other..
There are plenty of unhealthy skinny people just as there are fat people OP. If you are too lazy to drop and push out 30 or 40 push ups at the very least much less going to a gym the.n why are you even here?.
Cardio, healthy eating and living and strength training of any kind no matter if it's weights or just using body resistance is the key. But you must implement all the above.
