It's not worth it anymore. Home cook crew checking in.
Went out to dinner with the fam on thurs to a nice italian place in a nice area. I chose to get one of the cheaper options and got ravioli splendori for $18.99. The plate came out and I literally just stared at it for about 20 seconds. I ate it all in 1 min, he came back and I asked for another order. Dude looked like he saw a ghost.
6 raviolis for $18.99. 6 small raviolis. I ate both orders and dessert and I went home and had to have another meal before bed.
So if the prices aren't screwing you, what you get for the prices is about cut in half.

Well they clearly can but it should be illegal.

Yeah I mean dust off your kitchen appliances and learn to make your own pizza from scratch.

Trump dumping 10 trillion dollars (96% of which went to big business) into the economy has nothing to do with the inflation.

Deliveroo and ubereats are a fuking scam now. Sometimes the amount for delivery fee, service fee and tip ends up being the same as the price of your food. Fuk that.
There is but one path....we kill them all.

and use online coupons so you are only paying like $10

I've never used any of the services. Their surcharges are ridiculous. If I want take out the places are about 5 min from me so I just go get it. No delivery fees or tipping needed. If I really need it delivered the places deliver so there's no surcharge at least.

1. dropped it off at the wrong house so it was an hour late. They were long gone when i asked for the whereabouts of my food so I had to walk the 4 houses down to creepily take my food off of some strangers porch.
2. I didn't like the idea of a random person (unassociated with the establishment) dropping off my food thats open and accessible to them
3. you wind up paying a $20 premium (minumum) just to have the food delivered to your door when the gas just to get there and back yourself is cheaper.
4. for some reason the food is always ice cold by the time it arrives.

Uber Eats / DD is nuts because you tip in ADVANCE before you get the food. If you don't tip, your food order will bounce around the queue because none of the drivers will accept it and it will sit.
Will never use delivery apps

I ordered Pizza a sub and cinnastix from Jet's last night.
$60 fukin dollars that's with tip. But christ almighty.
Doesn't help Jet's in general is expensive as fuk and could get Dominos or Pizza hut for half the price, but Jet's is just better.
