Everyone here seems to have misconceptions about US marines. They are a very conventional force that 100 lb teenage girls off the street graduate and become Marines by the thousands every year after a few months of simple training. When you compare them with other nations marines like the uk royal marines, who are special operations, you see the difference. Not to say they aren't an effective fighting force but the only bad ass ones are when you get into the specialized marine groups like raiders/anglico/force recon. All the rest are basic troops with a few months of training that everyone passes

you are ignorant and should research the history of the US Marines. They have ALWAYS been the guys you see in that video. The problem is the way recruiting posters and TV portray them which then in return gives society this unrealistic expectation on what they should look like or act.

And if you think the Marines that battled in the islands of the Pacific were not conventional.....you are autistic. Go watch some documentaries and or read up on the lineage of the USMC.

Marines have never been special forces. They are the infantry arm of the Navy, nothing more.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Plus if you take the people from the Marine special divisions, in this case the Marine Raiders or something like the Navy Seals for example, they look much more like you would expect a typical marine to look like.

I didn't say those marines weren't conventional, as the Pacific theater was a conventional battle fully within the capabilities of an average conventional force which the marines are. And yes the propaganda does a disservice to the Marines by inflating expectations past what they actually do and are capable of

Austin is a microcosm of what is happening, and will happen to America as a whole. A once great city, vibrant and mainly white, is being transformed into a cesspool of woke diversity degenerecy. And it is going downhill fast. You simply cannot bring in people from 3rd world countries and expect those people to contribute to building a better civilization.
