I sort of agree with this, albeit I don't know about "handing the win to Trump", the guy motivates people to vote against him like nothing else, but yeah, I think Biden is a terrible candidate. He's too old, has had too many seniors moments, and a large number of the polls out there don't indicate any real sense of excitement for him. Or for the Biden/Trump rematch tbh.

I've said this before, but it bears repeating... had Trump been smart, and played the covid situation correctly, he would have won in 2020. Not a doubt in the world.

Yeah, I'd like to know this too. It's easy to speculate, in hindsight, about the "correct" way to handle a novel situation but...without the benefit of said hindsight, what should have been done to "handle it correctly"?

I'm certainly not suggesting there aren't valid criticisms, or that he did a flawless job, but...for all the people that love to critique - what should he have done to "handle it correctly" (besides firing Fauci) then? Be specific.

If he would have been banned from twitter in the beginning of 2020 and just put Pence up there to give the COVID briefings he most likely would have been re-elected.
