I think most of it's clown world, but I'm not against these three, especially the first:
"Employees must receive up to two weeks of unpaid leave if a family member is killed in a crime of violence."
Family member killed? Take two weeks. And unpaid? No problem. Sign of the times in Chicago, cot dayum
"Youthful offenders under 21 can no longer be given a life sentence without the possibility of parole."
Under 21 with no possibility of parole seems stupid anyway. The 19 yr old gangbanger let out at say age 40 or 55 isn't the same person.
"Anyone sentenced to life in prison who has served 40 years becomes eligible for parole."
After 40 years eligibility for parole seems reasonable. Half the reason the were probably involved in the crime was trying to get sloots. No fuks given for sloots if you're 60 yrs old.
