It’s still probably the most comfortable bike to ride 300 plus miles on in a day.

That’s not remotely accurate. I went down going 65 and walked away with minor injuries.

Been there, done that. Glad I sold my bike years ago. My adrenaline doesn’t start pumping until around 150 on a bike and it was asking for trouble. I mostly stick to jumping out of planes and free climbing now. It’s a better rush

Known at least 5 dead motorcyclists.
Known two who had permanent injuries.
One of them committed suicide due to injuries and pain.

I only know two alive motorcyclists, my dad and another guy, they both ride their Harleys in full gear, only open roads and are cautious. My dad will probably die in a motorcycle wreck.

One of the dead was riding home from work and a woman backed out of her driveway. He hit her doing 40mph but then got run over by another car.

One of the dead was a firefighter riding 35mph home, his rear tire blew and he went into a guard rail.

One of the dead was a 25ish yo running from the cops. He hit a guardrail and was decapitated at 130+.

One of the dead was riding at 60mph and he some how laid it down, I guess on an oil slick, and got run over.

One of the dead was going straight and woman made left hand turn into him, he flew off and died. Dunno speed but he was known to be unsafe.

What’s your point? Anyone that rides knows it’s extremely dangerous. Trying to live a fast life, not a long one
