I mean it happens in all species, but ducks are the only ones that have developed vaginas to specifically counter it lol. It is rampant in ducks. Also very prevalent in squirrels.

No one is going to report on the news that an animal raped another animal. No one cares. Humans have higher reasoning/understanding/empathy though and should know better; that's why it's a big deal and gets on the news.

I wasn't even "shaming" ducks or anything lol. I happen to like ducks and geese a lot. I was just stating a fact. It's not even really a bad thing, just something that happens among lower animals. Yeah it sucks for the animal getting raped and I feel bad for it, but for the one doing the raping it doesn't know any better and is just propagating the species.
