I'll disagree with the last part, I think it makes perfect sense for men with no prospects of dating or a family to not care that much. What else are they supposed to be working for? Does anyone really think men work soul crushing or back breaking jobs for fun? They did it to attract women and provide.

I've never done that, and I've had numerous serious relationships end because of it.

anger -- at society and women

bargaining -- well at least i can just get hookers or have fun alone

depression -- my life sucks and i can't change modern dating dynamics

acceptance -- seems bbmg is on a path here when he now says his personal story is irrelevant at this point

a lot of of men 30+ kinda skirt the line between being being raised in a world where things were different and the current modern clown world. they probably had a lot of men in their lives who had an easier go of things and thus, that set up expectations in their mind that their own life would follow a similar path. this makes the current state of things feel more depressing. men younger than 30 may have an easier time dealing with it and just play video games or whatever.
