Also WFH crew, except every work day. The only exception is if the local office has a relevant event that they want me to show up to, or if there's a meeting between my team and some vendors at another office location and they pay for my flight/hotel as well as compensate me overtime for the travel+office+dinners. The latter happens maybe 1-4 times a year, but ends up being a $1.5k-2.5k overtime kinda situation, pretty sick deal and fun too (drink in the airports and at nearby bars after the office events).

My favorite thing about WFH is the time saved due to no commute and no dressing up or meal-prepping. Cooking food and doing chores during my breaks is the GOAT, feels like I'm getting paid to increase my leisure time sometimes. Plus I like the lack of physical micromanagement and ability to do whatever the hell I want on my personal local PC simultaneously.

After being fully WFH for years though, it's easy to get too comfortable. Just don't let yourself pick up bad habits like drinking, leaving work PC alone for too long without checking on updates, foregoing your metrics, etc.

i am literally irreplaceable, when i go they are fckd and they know it.

5-10 max actual work a week on full time dosh, can retire anytime comfortably when i feel like it , so if things went south i would just say fck it and take the pay off

The employees who are able to demand the most advantageous working arrangements (flexible work hours, work from home, study leave, job share, etc etc) are able to do so precisely BECAUSE they can’t be replaced

Just lol at tradies or low level wagecells who can't WFH. It's literally a cheat code for life happiness. Still get the fulfillment of doing an amazing job, intellectually stimulating, make bank, yet with complete freedom to spend the day as you need without having to go through the whole office slog.
