The brains behind the great games have GONE.

The minds behind GTA 6 are NOT the minds behind GTA 1-5 and RDR 1 and 2

Dunno what people find so hard to understand about that, this game is being made by whoever the **** they hired to replace the original creators (here's a clue it's not anyone good you've ever heard of before)

So we are left with a team with NO track record, in 2024, they've already talked about how they are changing the humour.

I'm extremely sceptical. At BEST you are going to get the Terminator without James Cameron.

It will be AAA+ good, like polished with good gameplay and fun for consumers who love to blow shyt up.


It won't be GTA good though, TBH even GTA5 was trash by GTA standards - story was absolyte shyt, no villains, main charachters didn't develop and the world despite massive felt small and dead.

I expect GTA6 to be like some of those Batman Nolan movie - overpolished with great game direction but kind of lacking substance in the art direction.

It will win awards since art direction is quite the undervalued checkbox when it comes to winning awards for critically acclaimed games.
Usually well art-directed games become evergreen games in the gaming community over time while the polished turds just die when their consumer community jumps to the next game.

I srsly expect 5 to just start die quickly the moment everyone jumps on to GTA6:Online. And I don't expect 5 to sustain the love of 4 that fans have for it since GTA5 really doesn't have anything going for it in Single player where replayability is trash


The GTA magic left off with GTA4 and it peaked with VC and San Andreas. Rockstar will never ever be able to replicate the atmosphere of SA and VC

GTA will always be good at minimum. What I'm wondering is if it'll be great. Seeing as how heavily into multiplayer it went (which I don't play), I'm guessing it'll be a fun game to play when it goes on sale, but not a must buy for me.


One thing I know for sure is that'll it'll be gorgeous.

I just miss the Rockstar that would make games like Smugglers Run and Midnight Club, now they just feel like a company that is only interested in trying to win awards and sell virtual currency. I think a lot of "legendary" studios went in that direction.

GTA 6 will be good because all the children have left rockstar and people who have sensibilities to the current times will develop it.
