He needs DeSantis' voters to even have a chance. Problem for Trump here, is DeSantis is not a yes man, and that's what Trump requires.

Need Vivek. I liked Vivek actually over Trump even though I know he would never get the nod. But rather have a dude that isn't in 80s finally.

If independents vote based on Biden's record over this term and the increasingly obvious insanity of the Dems rather than feels, Trump should have a lot of them in the bag anyway though.

DeSantis is the author of his own downfall. He became gov bc of Trump, then got all cocky and went on the attack. He should have controlled himself and waited until 28, but he lacked patience and discipline. I don't see how he can recover from the past year, at least not during the next decade.
