I go about once a month by myself, and it's always fun. But I'd never take a date there. The bowling crowd is white trash as fukk, it's kind of a degen environment. I personally don't care, but sloots care.
It's kind of expensive too, at $45/hr. I literally cannot bowl Mon-Fri because there are leagues taking up every lane every weeknight. So I guess the alley is financially doing OK. The only times I can get on are weekends in the early afternoon, so I usually go on a Sunday if there's no football on.
Rolling in the 90 to 100 zone right now. I'm always on the fence about "do I buy shoes and a fitted ball and really get srs", or do I just keep pounding lemon drops and fukking around.

It's a good place to meet up with old friends, have a few beers and still bring kids along. My only reference to modern pop music comes from whatever they play in the bowling alley, to the point when I hear it outside of the bowling alley, I call it "bowling alley music."
It's always pretty packed when we go, normally have to plan on going around 5 to avoid the afternoon and after-dinner crowds. Son had a birthday party last year and the place was hopping at 11AM too.
