Prior to getting married I used to be fit and go to the gym all the time.
As soon as I got married I stopped going. I could explain but it would just be excuses.
It took getting a divorce for me to remember how much I used to like going to the gym. Feels good being able to put the focus back on myself and well being.
....but I'd being lying if I didn't say part of it was for the sloots

when the woman starts gaining weight she will subconsciously make the guy also gain weight so that she is his only option. it is a an instinctive resource securing option for the woman. She cant have a jacked/attractive husband who has many options when shes a fat slob, so she will drag him alone to restraunts, encourage him to eat bad, act up and emotionally manipulate him for going out to exercise instead of "spending time with her" ect.

I propose the idea that as the man in a marriage, you're the leader, and you should lead by example. Get and/or stay in shape, and she'll feel insecure herself, till she gets in shape too. Out in public, if you're a chad, and she's a chubby Karen, she'll notice the looks you're getting, and want to make a change for herself.

Can confirm it's easy to let happen if you are not careful. Catches up fast to

I've been able to maintain a lean physique year round so I get those comments from my spouse pretty much daily. It's a cycle too. It's nice to receive compliments from the person you love and it constantly reinforces your affection for them and desire to be around them, like a positive snowball effect. I know people who don't bang anymore and that makes me really sad. They've sort of just accepted the complacency and helplessness of it all and try to cope with that by making these statements, 'aw you know how it is. Honeymoon phase is over, etc etc etc.' No, I don't know how that is. Work harder, bud!I think it's important for people to stay in shape for their spouse/bf/gf. I've stayed in shape and the same size for the last 2+ years that I've been with my bf. Has nothing to do with wanting to cheat. The incentive is that I want him to remain attracted to me and think I look great.
Glad to read you're that kind of partner to someone
