I made 2 attempts. It was just dumb. Don't care how historical it was. If them injuns were that dumb to just sit there and get killed off its their own fault. Protect what's yours. I made it through probably 2/3 of the way.

Agreed on the mini series.

For some reason I couldn't help but laugh at De Niro sometimes lol. Ernest was genuinely a stupid man. They did the Osage people so dirty.

grandma indian was pissed when she said they are making us all white - with the babies. no more indian in them with marrying the white devil.

i didn't realise the indians were that rich or even that friendly with the whites, let alone marrying them. how the liberals would describe them. they were all trans sitting around a fire pit and being raped/murdered by the white. i guess the killing might be accurate

i still don't get how they dug for oil in the opening scene. i thought you needed heavy equipment and needed to go deep. it didn't look like they had anything set up to dig/drill

I didnโ€™t think Scorsese could make a dud, but he sure as hell did with this one. That was easily his worst film that Iโ€™ve seen. Even his ending when he tried to create a Goodfellas type of ending scene was an awful dud.

It surprisingly went by faster than the 3.5 hours, but not once was I captivated or into it at all. He failed big time on this one.

Idk I thought it was a really interesting plot and I'm sure some parts of it are accurate to history.

Personally I'm still a fan of these types of dramas.

I also liked Oppenheimer tho

Idk I'm OK with a movie being dialogue heavy and having a slow burn to it's plot. People saying nothing happens idk what you're even watching?

Everyone complains that Hollywood is just marvel superhero crap, but when these long drama movies that have plots with some actual substance come out, everyone cries it's too boring

for me there was not enough depth and build up to the scenes, that's why the story felt rushed. they also used music throughout many scenes too to give you a feeling that a lot was about to happen

12 Angry Men is still one of my favourites and that is all dialogue.

Oppenheimer i'll watch on the weekend, hopefully it's better than this one

i cannot remember the last marvel superhero movie, i wouldn't mind watching The Flash at some point
