Completely true but that doesn't change the fact that they are still trying to deliver good content to their player base. You think Nintendo isn't trying just as hard to make money? How often do their titles go on sale? How much does their online cost?

nintendo games often never on sale, unless its the retailer doing a one buy get one 50% off type of deal..

however nintendo's online is the cheapest only $20 a year.. but its literally barebone basic online gaming as they aren't feature rich at all.

Sony is interested in whatever is the safest and sells the most. Old Sony wouldn't shy away from trying to bring new experiences to the playerbase.

Nintendo games don't go on sale often and that's probably the biggest knock against them. At least they hold value if you do buy physical though.

Nintendo basic online is $20 per year. Sony is $80.
