Currently my GF lives in an apartment with her friends, graduated college a few months ago, and is in job hunting mode. She's taking the job hunting seriously btw, did a consultancy thing, went to multiple career fairs, finally has a gauntlet of interviews for something conveniently in her field, location, and income goals, so I'm happy for her. She doesn't have a car (or license) btw, so I usually have to drive when I wanna meet with her. Her lack of school/job gives her A LOT of free time, and as you can imagine, her ideal is to occupy as much of that with me as possible.

I WFH and live alone, I have a 4x10 schedule... AKA 3 days long weekends. 1 day of the weekend is my solitude day, just for gaming and internet mostly, maybe some shows/movies that I'm the one solely into. It's non-negotiable. But then she pretty much occupies the entirety of the other 2 weekend days, and bleeds a little into the work day before I take her back home.

Point is, set up your boundaries. Mine is "I need a day alone every week." Sometimes I'll take off from work, without telling her, just to increase my solitude hours for the week.

But all in all, if she's worth the time, you won't feel too upset sacrificing your time to her... at least not usually.
