So, while it is a coincidence three 'liberal' posters (which if you disagree that they are, whatever) are banned -- but I would note, the OP might not be noticing non-liberals who are gone and it's not like conservatives don't get banned at times, as well. You probably replied while I was editing. Look at the bolded reasons for getting banned. There are posters here that violate those rules with literally every single post. We have posters now who outright call for the killing of “liberals”.

Other posters I think are generally pretty good. You certainly are, I think I am - for the most part. Others as well, but I’m sure if those rules were actually applied universally and strictly we would all be banned.

I will add that I have been told I can’t post certain things in the Ukraine/Russia thread that don’t violate any of those - by a mod. You can guess which “side” those posts where on.

On the bolding bans, sometimes it's like playing Russian Roulette. You push some buttons, most of the time nothing happens, then seemingly out of the blue you're banned for 2 months for some rather tame post. Kind of like speeding or any other minor violation, most of the time you get away with it. You rob a bank, or draw a crude erect cock spewing on ms paint people, well that draws more attention to you and it won't fly under the radar. Probably best not to draw that much attention to yourself when breaking any rule...

My own biases come into play here, as I lean right, but from my perspective - and having been around with mods like Ratmonkey or IceManWhatever, I ate a lot of stupid bans for just being a con. So I look around and I'm pretty happy with this place and it's moderation. Maybe I am just not noticing liberals being unfairly banned and if that's happening now, yeah that's no good either.

Particularly - this place overall leans right. We need good liberal posters to take up that side of issues. I don't know about you, but I like having my beliefs challenged. Either I think about them and it reinforces them or it forces me to rethink and refine my viewpoints. I think either way I walk away from it more learned and better for the discussion, something I won't get in any echo chamber.
