for those wondering what the cause was...
His death was confirmed on Friday by his manga and design production studio, Bird Studio, and Capsule Corporation Tokyo, which said in a statement that the cause was acute subdural hematoma, when blood collects between the skull and brain.

RIP
never been big into DBZ myself, not because I don't like it I just never gotten around to actually follow it from the beginning
but one of my best mates in high school was big into it and since he died I always think of him when I see DBZ somewhere (dear diary)
sad

Been a fan of DBZ / DB for nearly as long as I can remember. Never read the manga, but watched every movie, every season (especially Frieza saga).
Played most of the video games too. One of the very first ever games I played was on the Gameboy.

It's crazy to think these shows, and manga, have been out for longer than I've been alive... and before internet was even in people's homes lol.
I gotta be honest though that the series has been kind of falling off for me a bit. I'm not a huge fan of how stupid and silly Goku is all the time in Dragon Ball Super. Feels like Vegeta has lacked purpose for a while. All the human characters are weak/useless AF. Timeline wise, all the characters are supposed to be in their 50s in Dragon Ball Super lol. And I need A LOT of convincing to feel like the characters magically turning into children for the next series was going to have any good serious content.

DBZ was my first anime. Cartoon Network. Middle School. Man I dreamt of being Goku sometimes for girls in school.
You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.
08/08/2011. the day the aesthetics died. never forget.

Man....DBZ changed my life.
It's one of the best shows a young kid can watch.
So many values and important lessons to take away.
RIP to a true legend, they don't make them like this anymore.

The first anime I got into. It made my childhood better. For those who didn’t know, he also helped with the design of Chrono Trigger, one of the all time greatest games ever made IMO. RIP.
