Just here to point out that apparently the best candidates for US President are a senile 82 year old man who has a strong chance of dropping dead in office, and a 78 year old career grifter with zero political experience before he ran the first time, who now has been indicted multiple times for different crimes whether you believe he did it or not.

If you seriously think there aren't people pulling strings behind the scenes and that these are the best two candidates America has to offer, I don't know what to tell you.

I hope they do not convict Trump. It would not be good for America if they did. Democrats should try to win the election though the voting both, not the courts.

This is a very dishonest court case. Manhattan residence hate Trump though. I can imagine even if a juror didn't want to convict Trump, there would be a lot of pressure placed upon him/her by others to do so.

I saw an article title this morning saying the judge was ordering the press to not reveal where juror's work. Course if the press does this lots of pressure will be placed upon the juror and their co-workers by Democrat activists to convict the former President regardless of facts. i doubt the judges order will be listened to. The jurors names and information will be learned by Democrat activists.

While Haley will hold sway because she has electoral votes, and that was a big reason why she stayed in the race... from my understanding, at the end of the day, its Trump's electors who get to choose where to direct their convention votes. If they wish to send their votes to DeSantis instead, then DeSantis beats Haley at the convention.

However, I don't think Trump will ever "formally" step aside and he will state that he is running from prison. Trump's electors from each state will then have to decide if they're going to part from Trump or go with DeSantis.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but at least that's how it would work with the Presidential contest electors.
