By this logic some really slow moving stock that goes up by one dollar a year is a better investment than Amazon or Tesla or Apple because they are more volatile, this makes no sense, the highest returning assets are going to be more volatile, that’s normal, it comes with a territory.

Yes, Amazon had dramatic falls, but if you held, you make more money than in the more steady stocks. Much much more money.
