Yeah, i'm pretty much doing the same thing because I feel obligated to do so, but i'm not going to put that pressure onto anyone else.

oh and I know your dad is just joking, but cyanide is a terrible way to die (you asphyxiate because your body loses its ability to use O2) there are far better ways to euthanize yourself.
I don’t think he was joking lol. But I will pass on that we should look into more pleasant ways to voluntarily die.

I'm introverted. Don't know about anyone else, but I've never felt lonely. Never had any real friends tbh and never cared.

Bored? Yeah. But if I had more money I'd probably never be bored.

Over population is a bad excuse.

Nothing wrong with kids if they actually benefit society. Since when is too many engineers, doctors, and scientists a bad thing?

The problem is too many retards are breeding. And you can't even say it's a poor vs rich thing because rich kids are selfish schmucks that will gladly destroy the rain forest for their own monetary gain.

Somewhere down the line, we went wrong as a culture. People only lookout for their own selfish gain.

Same op. Watching family members around me die with the loving support of their kids and grandkids scares the ever-loving chit out of me that I'll break a hip or something and just lay there until my body explodes.

Kids are the worst, screaming obnoxious chitting machines who make a mess and stay up all night crying. Then they enter their teenage years...

Every parent I've known has aged exponetially after having children

Also fukk people in general, the last thing this world needs is more people in it

Not having kids doesn't mean you have to be single

Just find a sloot to be with if you're worried about being lonely and have no friends

I was very impartial to kids. I have two now, but prior to meeting my wife I really didnt care which way it went.

Always htink wonder what life would be like without them (and my wife)

I dont think for the better...

Hate kids crew . I’m 63 ,never married and always pull out in time crew . Always thought it would have been kind of cool having a son to dirt bike and pump iron with , but it wasn’t meant to be . Which is probably a good thing as I have chit tier genetics. Best to let Chad do all the procreating , this way the next generation of kids are hopefully 6’3 master race .

And don’t ever think having children will guarantee that you’ll have someone there for you in your old age , as I know a guy who’s kids basically left him for dead once he quit giving them handouts .

As we speak I’m friends with a sloot that is struggling single mom . I take her and her twin daughters out on the weekend for lunch and a visit to the local parks etc.
It’s kind of cool being part of someone’s life once in a while , but there’s no fk’n way I could that full time .

It isn't about having kids, it's about control and agency.

Wanting and not wanting kids are both perfectly reasonable life choices, but they should be choices based on desire, not on fear. People shouldn't have kids because they are scared of being old and alone, but they also shouldn'tnothave kids because of various other fears (health, climate change, political climate or whatever).
Genetics is by nature random... control and agency aren't part of that deal. "You pays your money and you takes your chances."

The best you can do is look at the probabilities and decide if you want to take that risk or not.

Surprised to see so much sentiment in here against having kids. I thought that was more rare on the misc.

No kids crew myself though. I sometimes think about whether it's moral to have kids or specifically whether it's moral for legbroke to have kids, but ultimately, I just don't have the desire to raise kids, so that's where my thinking stops. I think it would be very wrong to bring an unwanted child into the world.

That's the point; removing the randomness (having kids) is a method of control. When you limit the chaos and the noise, you gain an illusion of agency.

I'm not having a dig at you; I've just been in that position.

There is never a perfect time to have kids, whether in a person's life or a time in history. We can semi-control certain variables and increase the probability of certain outcomes, but it's relatively minor.

Everybodywho has kids takes a huge gamble. I had a great kid at 46, but I could have just as easily had a bad one at 21. If you don't want them, don't have them. But if youdowant them, don't let ifs and buts stop you.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

It's not religion, religion has never really stopped people from doing bad.

It's a battle between retards breeding and selfish wealthy kids. Both are destroying the middle class

It doesn't stop people from doing bad, but unfortunately, I think the fear of a potential hell does stop a pretty large sect of society from acting out on intrusive thoughts who are otherwise "subdued" by their religion.
