I think Diablo 2 has the potential to be a great movie if made right

None really, but the lack of a Metal Gear Solid movie or show does feel like a missed opportunity, you can tell Kojima always wanted to direct movies or TV.

Donkey Kong starring getterdone. You can pull off Diddy if you flip the hat forward. Most of misc moggers fall into jacked kremlin territory, and I would make a good mini-gator with a big mouth. Proudmanlet can be the swordfish.
