It sounds like a total chit show.
That sounds bad, but the grass is always greener.

If your brother was single, and all his friends were married with kids, then he might wish he had that life with a schedule and structure, and "forced socialization".

If you stay single and childless, you essentially have to create a structure (hobbies etc.) for yourself proactively.

Yeah same boat. Last relationship was just fwb so all we did was ****. Now I have a girl who is really into me but she has a boyfriend.

The dating scene is ****ed. I went drinking with her and she was showing me her tik tok videos and videos of her stripping routine from when she worked in New Orleans. Pretty good actually NGL. Jfl

I don't even try anymore.

I feel you OP. I was in a similar state after my last relationship of 4 years ended about 2 years ago. Couldn't be assed to deal with any women i wasn't already friends with.

Best advice I can give if find some hobbies. I dove into motorcycles. Always wanted one, finally had the financial freedom to get one, and haven't looked back, now I own 4. At first, it can be a solitary experience, but if you enjoy riding you won't give a fuk at all and will just go out to ride on your own for fun. If you feel like you need a group, there are always meets and rides happening, or you can just join a fbook group and set up some yourself. The riding community, just like any, can suck. But there are also a lot of really great people out there who are also looking for people to ride and hang with. I've made more new friends the past year alone getting out to motorcycle meets and riding with new people than I did the entire rest of the time I was single. And there's many different communities you could get into. Stunting, track riding, canyon riding, content creating (pls no tho), etc

Videogames are also a good outlet to distract yourself from your loneliness, and you can even make friends online you could play with, or use it as a method to connect and bond with people too far away to see in person.

Go to the gym if you aren't already, you are bound to encounter some social people that you can befriend if you aren't some hopeless weirdo.

If you have any friends currently that do social things, just start saying yes to everything they invite you to. The more you agree to plans, the more people will include you in them, assuming you are pleasant to be around.

If you don't have social anxiety, you can try going to concerts/events alone and meeting people there. usually drunks are more receptive to new people.

Buy a motorcycle or buy a project car and work on them. Then go for long rides or drives.

You can also job a motorcycle or car club.

If you go the motorcycle route you'd be able to find riding friends real easy, just be careful, don't want any douche riders.

I am generally an extrovert and I also do business development for my company in the A/E/C industry where there are a bunch of other good dudes that do business development also. So networking and socializing is part of my job, whether at breakfast, lunch, dinner, chamber event, happy hour, golf course, etc.
