How did he get them you have to wonder. Aviators dont have multiple helmets, they have the one they use and if it need to be replaced they get a new one. the old one they can keep but it will be old and beat up.

There is no way to just have a brand new one you can take home to display unless you are stealing it or something like that. Guess it makes sense he would be a biden voter.

Nah, from a joint perspective everyone has an important role, no matter how small or big, including cooks. Cooks are probably the biggest morale boosters in the entire military.

I understand that. I'm just trying to make the point that the idea of classifying someone as a "vet" as if it is an instant gratifier without distinction is absurdly ingrained into our culture without ever taking the time understand why. My argument was why isn't your local tradie treated with the same praise justifiably? But people want me to throw around "thank you for your service" or put you on a pedestal because someone is a "vet" when you could just be chilling on a navy boat for 2 years traveling? LMAO.

I just used the "cook" as a random example. All these jobs have their place, but lol at using it as an identifier like it's praise worthy for other topics of discussion. You're just like a plumber or electrician. Doing their job.
