I think it is good but the "white male=bad" dialogue felt so out of place and was a bad taste

Especially considering how Bruce Wayne is pretty much the epitome of a privileged white male lol.

Just look into some of the producers though, no surprise really. I mean if Marvel flicks gotta get all politically preachy these days what should we really expect here?

thanks for your opinion. I have yet to see it. I think its because I just don't picture Twinkling Vampire Boy as Bats. Plus when he said he wasn't working out for the role, that turned me off to the movie in general.

Yeah the guy definitely felt wrong for the role. Like he's supposed to be this tough badass who can kick anybody's ass and you see him as Bruce Wayne and he just looks like a twink. Doesn't help how his entire look and personality was basically an emo stereotype.

Yeah it was fuking trash. They completely butchered Batman. It was nothing like the character. 0 stealth/ninja tactics either....dude was just straight up walking into clubs/police stations/crime scenes with hundreds/thousands of people looking at him close up. Not to mention that twilight **** refused to lift weights for the role.

Worst part is all the critics and little woke crowd ate it up so expect more of the same in the sequel.

If it's total chit, you can expect the usual suspects to eat it up, promote it, and defend it so long as it's got some woke messaging in it. It's like that with most new big budget media these days.

I find it funny how anyone still trusts critics these days.

This. The whole point of the movie was to deliver that one line. That is the entire creative flow of the movie. It really does suck.

The production was great. The lead was great. Everything else sucked.

For once, Jay is right. People say chit like "This was the most comic accurate take on Batman!"

Not even close. Riddler was also just OK. Catwoman was mid. Penguin was the best thing about the movie.

The Batman did a whole lot right and, unfortunately, a lot wrong.

I loved the atmosphere, the 80%/20% ratio of Batman to Bruce Wayne screentime, the scene where they introduce the Batmobile was awesome, Penguin was somehow very cool... Catwoman was okay (Nothing close to the Burton version). Riddler started off interesting, fell off hard by the end. The 3rd act was a complete mess.

It committed the biggest crime a superhero movie can commit - it was boring. Regardless of everything else, it just wasn't entertaining.
